The Holy Karbala Municipal Directorate announced its service plan for the upcoming Ashura pilgrimage, with the participation of more than (2000) workers from all departments of the municipality.
“The Holy Karbala Municipal Directorate chaired, on Thursday morning, an expanded meeting that included department and divisional officials in the directorate in order to discuss the service plan made for the commemoration of the tenth of Muharram, and to intensify the municipal effort during the coming days, as well as to distribute the workers in a manner commensurate with the size of the responsibility entrusted to the municipal departments," said the director of Karbala municipality media office "Muhammad Husayn Kazim."
"The mobilization of human effort has been prepared by the directorate with the participation of (1545) waste management workers, in addition to the participation of (535) garden workers," Kazim added, pointing out that an efficient numbers of prevention supplies, containers, and garbage bags, have been prepared and distributed into the working staff."
The local official has also announced the launch of an awareness campaigns for the owners of the processions about the need to cooperate with municipal cadres, as well as the beginning to prepare all requirements and fuel for the machinery planned to carry out multiple duties during Muharram events.
