It is the 8th blessed day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah of the 10th year of the blessed Prophet’s migration is an important day in the history of Islam and the world, and in it the Prophet, the Chosen One Muhammad (may peace,blessings and the mercy of thr Almighty God be upon him and his immaculate progeny (pbuth) was appointeded by the order of God Almighty Ali Ibn Abi Talib, Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) as caliph and guardian and an Imam after him.
The story of Eid al-Ghadeer on the eighteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah of the tenth year of Hijrah one of the most famous days in the life of the Messenger of Islam (SAWS) when he arrived at Ghadir Khumm,a place between Mecca and Madina where Al-Amin Gabriel (peace be upon him) revealed a Quranic verse to him, saying, “In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful” ((O Messenger,Deliver what has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not do it, then you have not conveyed His Message and God will protect you from people)) The truth of God Almighty (Quran,5:67)
On that day, the Messenger (SAWS) delivered a fateful and very important hadith known as the hadith of Al-Ghadeer, The message was “For whomever I’m his Mola then Ali is his Mola ”and “This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. (Quran 5:3) and the hadith of Al-Ghadeer is considered one of the important and fateful historical hadiths and well knowen between Shia and sunni sources and it is calles Hadith Mutaw'aatir (frequent) that prove the Imamate of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib (pbuh), and obliges his obedience and mandate over all believers after God's Almighty mandate and the mandate of His Chosen Messenger (may God bless him and his family) with clearly and publicly in front of all Muslims..
