A procession to commemorate the Karbala tragedy, organized in India’s Sultanpur

Procession Safar-e Medina was organized in Sultanpur last Wednesday. Maulana Abbas Irshad Naqvi, who came from Lucknow at Jama Masjid in Amhat, titled the procession Majlis. In the end, Maulana Shams Tabrez crowned the Majlis at the Dargah Hazrat Abbas.

 

Maulana also said that Hussain would protect you for the sake of independence. Maulana said that Hussain should be believed in the same way as Habib did in Karbala. During the Majlis, when the words of Karbala were read, the eyes of the people filled with tears.

 

According to Livehindustan.com, Hazrat Imam Hussein, the grandson of the founder of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad “PBUH”, traveled with his convoy from Medina to Karbala, Iraq on the 28th century AD. After fixing a difficult destination in about six months, Sir had reached the Karbala desert on two Muharram. Where there was a decisive battle with Yazid's huge army for the protection of Islam religion and humanity.

This procession was taken out in memory of this; a procession of Safar-e-Husseini was taken out today. Seeing this the memories of the battle of Karbala were refreshed. In this memory, processions-e-Amari, Duldul, and Alam were taken out. The camels were covered with veils, which symbolized that the women of the family were also in the convoy.

 

A free health camp was also organized by Raza Hospital in the procession. Free medicines were distributed to the people after testing them free of cost. Hospital operator Haider Khan said that service to man is the biggest religion; this is what Imam Hussain has taught us. Dr. Sajjad Khan, Dr. Mohtasham, Dr. Haider Jafri, Ikrar also served in the camp.
