Presidency of Al-Mustafa International University in Iraq, hosted by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research

On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, a delegation from the Presidency of Al-Mustafa International University visited the Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Holy Shrine of Al-Hussainiya, to discuss the development of prospects for joint scientific cooperation between the two sides.

The delegation consisted of Dr. Muhammad Ali Mohsen Zadeh, President of Al-Mustafa University - Representation of Iraq, Dr. Muhammad Al-Bandawi, Director of Research and Graduate Studies at the University, and Mr. Hussein Qasim Al-Musawi, Director of the Office of the President of Al-Mustafa University in Iraq.

The delegation was received by Professor Abdul-Amir Al-Quraishi, Director of the Center, and Professor Dr. Nazir Jabbar Al-Hindawi, Assistant Director of the Center for Scientific Affairs and Islamic Researcher, Dr. Sheikh Alaa Al-Maliki, “May his blessings last”.

The visiting delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Center's management for their hospitality and warm reception, pointing out that the international scientific reputation enjoyed by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research prompted them for this blessed visit.

For his part, Professor Abdul-Amir Al-Quraishi reviewed the set of scientific and strategic activities that the Karbala Center for Studies and Research is working on, including the comprehensive Karbala Civilization Encyclopedia, the project of tracking the homes of the path of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and other scientific and pioneering activities that are an important tributary of science, knowledge and documentation of the heritage of the city of Holy Karbala , explaining the center's openness with scientific and official institutions inside and outside Iraq by holding a set of memorandums of understanding and joint scientific cooperation between those institutions.

At the end of the meeting, the visiting delegation presented a set of appreciative gifts to the center’s management, while Dr. Muhammad Ali Mohsen Zadeh, President of Al-Mustafa University, praised the scientific efforts made by the center’s administration in rooting and documenting the history of the Holy City in all its aspects, in order to preserve its antiquities and civilization, and to communicate its history to the world in service of the general scientific interest and the city of golden domes holy Karbala, for his part, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, Director of the Center, presented a group of scientific publications to the visiting delegation, wishing them continued success in their scientific and academic work.
