To discuss prospects for joint scientific cooperation, a KCSR delegation visits the French Embassy in Baghdad.

 

On Sunday, March 27, 2022, a delegation from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain “AS” has visited the Cultural Attaché at the French Embassy in Baghdad to discuss prospects of joint scientific cooperation between the two parties.

 

The delegation was headed by Mr. Abdul-Amir Al-Quraishi, the director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Nathir Jabbar Al-Hindawi, the KCSR scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Wahhab Nasrallah, Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Karbalai and Dr. Thamer Makki Ali, the members of the advisory body.

 

The delegation was received by Dr. Salwa Nakouzi, the counselor for cooperation, cultural and humanitarian activity, and the director of the French Institute in Iraq, and Mr. David La Sig, the attaché for scientific and university cooperation at the French Embassy.

 

The visit included discussing the prospects for joint scientific cooperation between the two sides, and inviting French professors and researchers to participate in the Sixth International Conference for Arbaeen pilgrimage, which is planned to be held in September 2022.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Nakouzi has expressed her thanks and appreciation to the KCSR director for his continuous efforts to strengthen scientific and cultural relations with international research centers and institutions in the service of the public interest and to supplement the scientific process with knowledge and culture.
