On Thursday, February 3, 2022, the administration of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain “A. S”, received a delegation of the International Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt “A. S” to discuss a proposal to train, develop, and educate young people according to the doctrine of the Ahl al-Bayt “peace be upon them.”
The delegation was received by Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, the director of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, the scientific assistant, Prof. "Natheer Jabbar Al-Hindawi," and the administrative assistant, Mr. "Amir Kamel."
The visiting delegation was headed by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. "Muhammad Jawad," the Assistant for International Affairs at the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt, His Eminence Sheikh "Abu Ali al-Behbehani," the Director of the Ahl al-Bayt assembly in Najaf, and "Mazin al-Hussaini," the head of the Arab and African Department at the assembly.
The two sides discussed developing prospects for cooperation to serve the interest of youth through holding seminars, workshops, and cultural and scientific training camps to preserve the youth identity from deviations and extraneous conspiracies against society, especially after the increase in malicious media trends that push young people to intellectual deviations such as atheism, drugs, and others.
The visiting delegation indicated that the success of the project requires the formation of a committee of active figures, specialists, and those with successful experiences in managing youth, intellectual, and cultural resources.
For his part, Al-Quraishi reviewed a set of scientific activities aimed at preserving the youthful method adapted by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, especially in the 5th Arbaeen International Conference, which was held in 2021 and included essential axes such as youth volunteer work, and the role of family and volunteers during the pilgrimage, as he expressed the willingness of the KCSR to develop targeted plans and mechanisms to address the psychological breakdown of youth, support cultural and scientific projects, and planning to address some of the problems experienced by the Iraqi youth.
At the end of the visit, the delegation members of the International Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt “A. S” have expressed their thanks and gratitude to the administration of the KCSR for its warm welcome and for extending bridges of joint cooperation to serve the youth groups, and to attract them towards consolidating the Islamic unity, and working to raise the intellectual, cultural, educational and social level of the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt School, peace be upon them. .
