KCSR Releases: Karbala - History And Heritage

The Karbala Center for Studies and Research "KCSR" has published a new book titled "Karbala - History And Heritage", which is one of publications of the "Scientific City of Karbala" series, No. 12 by: Prof. Saied Rashid Zumaizem.

The writer has touched on many important issues in his book, including the architecture of Karbala since the martyrdom of Imam Hussein "Peace be upon him" until recently, and the most prominent holy shrines and sites in the city, as well as the city's monuments. He also spoke about the attacks and aggressions against the city throughout history, and the most important religious seminaries and events in Karbala. The writer also addressed the most important scientific and literary figures in the city, in addition to the princes, princesses, sultans, kings and travelers who visited this holy city, not to mention the city's hostels and popular dishes, as well as markets, bazaars and the most prominent poets, preachers and martyrs of the city, beside the most important events that took place in it like assassinations, uprisings, conventions and revolutions.
