The Role of Al-Aqeel Bin Abi Talib in The Battle of Karbala

Author: Salam Nasir Wali Al-Udhaimi

Year of Publication: 1436 Hijri – 2015 AD "1st Edition".

The book deals with the heroic role of the household of Aqeel Bin Abi Talib "peace be upon them" in the battle of Karbala and how they refused to quit their support for their master Imam Hussein "pbuh" even though he authorized them to leave. So they insisted to stay with him and support him as they have fulfilled what they said.

The book indicates that after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and the attack on his camp for looting, a number of Al-Aqeel's children were killed after being crushed under the hooves of horses or because of the severity of hunger and thirst, so this was their apostolic and heroic role in supplying the Husseini reform path with pure blood.
