This book is an indicative guide to the artifacts located within the geographical area of the holy city of Karbala. It is a definition of no more than the sites observed by the authors during their field visits.

The efforts of the archaeological committee composed by our center for the observations of about fifteen archaeological sites, some of which still exist and tell a bright history of great events. Among those sites that characterized by the magnificence of sacrifice, those immortal sites that witnessed the martyrdom convoy, which embraced the message of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH), and honored by his pure blood and gave the land of Karbala its holy sanctuary, its identity, and its whole existence.
