This book deals with the technical and aesthetic aspects of some of the archeological sites, especially the holy city of Karbala in Iraq and Istanbul in Turkey, which provide a theoretical basis for the decorative elements associated with Islamic architecture as well as the rich knowledge in the field of plastic art.
The book contains two chapters, the first one was divided into three sections which deal with the shapes and terminology, and the second with the aesthetic of decorative art (the elements and the foundations of their organization), while the third section has dealt with the decorative character of Islamic architecture.
