This book deals with the legitimate position of tourism in the light of the Islamic law, and then switches into the elements of successful tourism and highlights the problems and obstacles facing the tourism industry. What gives the importance to the book is that the holy city of Karbala is one of the important cities that must take steps into developing its tourism due to annual pilgrimage made by Muslims from all around the world.

The book was divided into three chapters, a conclusion and supplements. The first chapter of it was a statement of the meaning of tourism and related activities, and the second chapter is dealing with the legitimate rule of this indusrty, while the statement of the pillars of successful tourism was in the third chapter.
