On Sunday August 9, 2020, the Aoun District Agriculture Division announced the production of more than 3 million table eggs per month.
The director of the division, "Mahdi Al-Janabi", said in a statement to local news agencies, “The geographical area of the Aoun District Agriculture Division includes three gigantic projects for the production of table eggs, which are (Musaiyab Project), with a capacity of 2 million eggs, the (Durrat Karbala) company, with a capacity of 600 thousand eggs, and the (Dur Karbala) company, with a capacity of 450 thousand eggs per month."
"The divisions of the Karbala Agriculture Directorate are working to achieve self-sufficiency and support the national product by giving wide attention to livestock, whether in table eggs or poultry, etc.", Al-Janabi added.
