In pictures ... the commemoration of Eid al-Ghadir in Karbala

Local news outlets have published photos of the ceremonies made to commemorate the greater Eid in the holy city of Karbala.
The pictures, which were widely circulated on social media, showed the masses of believers flocking toward the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Al-Abbas "peace be upon them" to renew the pledge of allegiance to the Imam of all Muslims Ali bin Abi Talib "peace be upon him" as the true successor of the Allah's messenger, amid strict measures due to the current health crisis represented with the spread of Coronavirus.
On the eighteenth of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah each year, Shiite Muslims are celebrating the anniversary of the Eid al-Ghadeer by pilgrimaging to the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf for practicing the deeds of this occasion, exchanging congratulations and blessings among each other, and giving charities to the needy among so many other worships.
