Financial Allotment For The Reconstruction Of The Government Headquarters In Karbala: A Reading In The Ottoman Documents

The Prime Ministry sent to the Ottoman authorities, a letter explaining that the current headquarters of the government in the Karbala district is worn out and about to collapse completely.

After examining the building, an estimated fund was allotted with an amount of (5973 piasters), and the mentioned fund would be secured within the budget of the state of Baghdad, which was confirmed by the letter of the Ministry of the Interior and the state council's finance department, with an appeal to notify the supreme Ottoman authority for the Approval and the issuance of the related order .

The document was accompanied by the approval of the supreme Ottoman authority through an official order on the 24th of the Islamic month of Sha'aban, 1317 Hijri, December 19, 1899 AD.
