Glimpses of the life of Imam Al-Hassan al-Mujtaba (pbuh)

His name:

He is Abu Muhammad al-Hassan bin Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon them), the first of the prophet's two grandsons and the master of the youth of the heaven and the fourth of holy household mentioned by Allah almighty in the holy Quran.

His mother is the lady of the world's women Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

He was born in the 15th of the holy month of Ramadan at the third year of Hijri muslim calendar.

He was named as the caliph after the departure of his father for only six months, then he had to abandoned it to Muawiya by force and oppression. He died at the age of (47) years as a result of a poison slipped to his meal by his wife Ja'dah bint al-Ash'ath in coordination with the dictator Mu'awiyah on the 7th of the Muslim month of Safar in the 50th year of the Hijri calendar.

When Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) wanted to be buried next to his grandfather the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), his coffin was prevented from arriving there by Umayyad's thugs who throw it with arrows, so he was buried in the Baqi cemetery in Medina next to his grandmother Fatima bint Asad.

Al-Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him) was the purist, most sacrificed and most worshiped man among people during that period, he made 20 pilgrimages from Medina to Mecca on foot, and he was so generous and kind that everyone who came to him in need, they returned satisfied. His grandfather the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) has named him the master of the youth of the heaven.
