As part of the financial allotment to the region of Razaza, which was under the administration of the Karbala Brigade, the Ottoman Sultan "Abdul Hamid II" has issued a formal letter to the supreme administration on the 23rd of the Islamic month of Muharram at 1294 Hijri.
The letter stated that the Anza clan, especially the Al-Hathal group, would live in the Razazah region in the Karbala brigade. And in order to encourage them to settle and cultivate the land, some lands were allocated to the clan, as well as a monthly salary of 2600 piasters for the clan's sheikh.
The teacher Sheikh "Taha al-Shawaf" was hired in Razazah with a monthly salary of (1500) piasters, the mandate of Baghdad and the treasury department has been informed for the purpose of securing the mentioned amount of money, as the Shahani administration was requested to issue the approval for it.
