On the morning of the sixth day of the Islamic month of Ramadan in 1338 Hijri, 1920 AD), many well-known figures went from the holy city of Karbala to the capital Baghdad in order to participate in the mass rally held at the mosque of "Al-Haydar Khana".
The purpose for that rally, was to demand the independence of Iraq and ending the British occupation over its soil. A delegation of fifteen members was formed to meet the representatives of occupation authorities for this matter.
It is noteworthy that delegation of the citizens of Karbala was headed by Sayyid. Abdul Razzaq Al-Wahhab Al-To'ama and the membership of Sayyid. Ibrahim Shams Al-Din Al-Qazwini Haeri, Sayyid. Sadiq Jalukhan, Sayyid. Fakhri Al-Hakim, Sheikh Humaid Al-Mulla Saeed Al-Mutawakil, Abbas Al-Mujahid, and others.
