The Representative Of The Supreme Religious Authority Calls For Paying Attention To The Moral, Social And Scientific System.

The representative of the supreme religious authority Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai, called on the governmental institutions, civil society organizations and community members to put more interest in culture, reading and knowledge.

Al-Karbalai said in the Friday sermon at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussein "pbuh", that "We give some service systems more interest on the expense of other important systems such as cultural, intellectual, social and economic system," pointing out that "The reasons behind the great development of some countries, are their interest in the intellectual, cultural, scientific, moral and ethical aspects with the same interest in other services, such as health and roads services".

He called on the importance to "Take the thought from its right and proper source," calling to "Move away from internal and external negative effects, that affect the mechanisms of correct thinking such as intolerance, anger, and emotion".

The representative of the supreme religious authority has also stressed on the need for the government departments and society, to be responsible for providing the environmental, occupational and health safety measures borne by the state in all locations and places, and for citizens to take part of that responsibility, including the cleaning of the streets, markets, rivers and public places.

Al-Karbalai demonstrated that the true faith is represented by "The preservation of the status, dignity and reputation of the individual and their family, as well as their social figure," stressing on the need to "Activate the sense of responsibility and performing it to the fullest.
