The representative of the supreme religious authority pointed on Friday, that among the important objectives for the sincere loyalist and true supporter of Al-Imam Al-Hussein "peace be upon him" through the walk and pilgrimage toward the Imam's holy shrine , are the renewal of loyalty, allegiance and pledge to him "pbuh".
Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai has said in the Friday prayer sermon held in the holy shrine of Al-Imam Al-Hussein today (October 26, 2018), that "Renewing the allegiance and pledge means that you address Al-Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) saying that you will go on with his path, position, ethics and jihad, as well as to keep his revolution and reform movement, no matter what kind of sacrifice and hardship will cost you for taking this path. "
"It is important to fulfill the pledge of Imam Hussein (pbuh)," Al-Karbalai stressed .
He also explained that point behind this idea is that there are a number of "Hadeeths" that talked about "How many fasting people who have gained nothing from their fast but hunger and thirst, and how many worshipers who have gained nothing from their prayers but fatigue and pain", noting that the fast as a form of worshipping has many indicators and great fruits in this life and the other, so the fasting person is unaware of the performance of this worship in a way that leads him or her into gaining these fruits, as well as prayer, which is the ritual that considered as the ascension of the believer and the sacrifice for every pious. So each person performs it, but the question here: is this prayer ascend their spirits to the higher kingdom or not, and whether it is actually a sacrifice for piety or not?."
His eminence has pointed out that many of the worshipers are losing these fruits and the great worldly and ecclesiastical gains because they do not comply with some of the conditions and ingredients that lead them into harvesting the great fruits.
Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai redressed that the Arbaeen pilgrimage, as mentioned above, has great fruits that can be harvested if the people were able to reach the real qualities and ingredients required to win the paradise in one condition which is to come with their essence and spirit to enter Paradise as the roads in front of them are easy and passable.
