On a specialized research visit.. A British professor praises the efforts of Karbala Center for Studies and Research and seeks to open horizons for scientific cooperation

Karbala Center for Studies and Research at Al-Hussain Holy Shrine received, on Saturday, July 8, 2023 AD, Professor Robert Cliff, Associate Dean for International Affairs and Professor of Development for Arab Studies at the College of Social Sciences and International Studies affiliated to the University of Exeter, which is one of the most prominent universities in the southwestern region from England in the United Kingdom.

 

He was received by Professor Abd al-Amir al-Quraishi, Director of the Center and Professor Dr. Nazir Jabbar al-Hindawi, Assistant Director of the Center for Scientific Affairs, and members of the advisory board were (Professor Dr. Riyad al-Jumaili, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Wahhab Nasrallah, Prof. Dr. Haider al-Karbalai, Assistant Professor Mushtaq al-Mousawi, Dr. Thamer Makki Ali) and Mr. Ahmed Salah Al-Baghdadi, head of the Public Relations and Media Department at the Center .

 

Within the framework of his specialized research visit, the professor expressed his great admiration for the efforts of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in achieving scientific and research progress, indicating his desire to open new horizons for scientific cooperation between the center and the solid British academic institutions, as knowledge and experiences can be exchanged and joint events such as workshops and scientific conferences can be organized. It is concerned with the study of the history and civilization of the holy city of Karbala and its cultural heritage and its delivery to the world .

 

It should be noted that this specialized research visit reflects the desire of the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Studies of the University of Exeter to strengthen international scientific ties and deepen understanding between researchers and academics worldwide .
