Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS)’s sacrifice is for all groups and communities, an example of the path of righteousness. Jawaharlal Nehru regarded Karbala as representing humanity’s strength and determination. Yaume Ashur marks one of the greatest sacrifices made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his kinfolk. No ghazwa, battle, or war in Islam has been as deadly as this one.
On the other hand, Yazid would always be considered a merciless killer for his mendacity and malfeasance. Hazrat Hussain (AS) gave away his life to be remembered till Roz-e-Hisaab (judgment day). We as Muslims and citizens of this country must come together as one. Only those who sacrifice, their names, and their souls rule even when they leave for their eternal abodes. Fight for the cause of Islam, for the welfare of the Muslims, and strive to resolve issues among the belligerent Muslim countries.
