Photos: Imam Al-Kadhim martyrdom ceremony held in Bangladesh

Believers from the republic of Bangladesh have held a ceremony in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kadhim "AS".

According to En.abna24.com, the annual event took place in Karbala Imambargah of Mirpur, Bangladesh.

Imam Mūsā b. Jaʿfar “Arabic: موسی بن جعفر” “b. 128/745 – d. 183/799” titled as al-Kāthim “الکاظم” and Bāb al-Ḥawāʾij “باب الحوائج” was the seventh Imam of Shi'a, born in Abwa' “a village between Mecca and Medina”. After his father, Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq "AS" was martyred. He became the Imam of Shi'a Muslims. The thirty-five years of his imamate coincided with a number of dictators including al-Mansur, al-Hadi, al-Mahdi, and Harun al-Rashid. He was repeatedly imprisoned by al-Mahdi and Harun and was finally martyred in 183/799 in al-Sindi b. Shahik's prison.
