The work on Karbala Refinery Project will be extended, report

South Korea's GS E&C company has announced that the contract period for the Karbala Refinery Project in Iraq will be extended, Ajunews.com reported.

 

According to a statement by the company, the end of the previous contract period was on February 16, but the review work is currently underway to conclude a changing contract.

 

"The changed contract period will be corrected and disclosed when the contract is concluded," the statement added.

 

The contract amount of the Karbala Refinery Project, which was commenced on April 22, 2014, was KRW 2.412 trillion.
