His Eminence Sheikh Abdul al-Mahdi al-Karbalai, the religious custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (A. S.) congratulated Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Dhia' al-Din, on the occasion of the assumption of his duties as the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Abu al-Fadhl al-Abbas (A. S.).
This was during the visit of a delegation from the Holy Shrine on Saturday afternoon, headed by the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (A. S.) holy shrine, which included a number of members of its board of directors and heads of its departments to the Imam al-Hussein's (A. S.) holy shrine, to meet with its senior officials and new general secretary, Haj Hassan Rashid al-'Abayji. The delegation presented its congratulations to Haj al-'Abayji, wishing him continued success in his work in the service of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hussein (A. S.) and his honorable pilgrims.
In his turn, His Eminence Sheikh al-Karbalai offered prayers and congratulations to Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Dhia' al-Din on the occasion of assuming his duties as Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (A. S.) holy shrine, asking Allah Almighty for the blessings of those who had the honor of serving them and their visitors.
The meeting witnessed the exchange of expressions of cordiality and welcome as well as a discussion of ways to enhance joint cooperation and continuous coordination between the two holy shrines, and everything that contributes to providing and promoting the best services for the honorable pilgrims.
The meeting was concluded by giving congratulatory gifts from the shrine of Abu al-Fadhl al-Abbas (A. S.) to the religious custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (A. S.).
